Founded in 2004, İstanbul based ACT Airlines  is the cargo airline company which has established itself as one of the fastest growing with the fleet of four Boeing B747-400 freighters in the region.

Now, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Aircraft System / Powerplant Engineer to join our Engineering Department in our Kurtköy HQ.

Basic tasks are as follows:

Job Description:

• To follow up technical documents or technical issues to all applicable aircraft, engines and APU.
• To ensure relevant documents are evaluated against aspects like reliability, technical improvement
• To prepare & issue maintenance program by taking operational problems and reliability program outcomes into account,
• To provide support for Flight Operations Engineering Department during preparation of MEL with regards to configurations of aircraft in the fleet,
• To liaise with manufacturers
• To provide support for technical inquiries raised by the other departments,
• To prepare Dent & Damage Charts for complete fleet and to keep them up-todate for existence at cockpit area of every specific a/c,
• To prepare planned maintenance data; work orders and work packages of maintenance checks, engine shop work scope, APU shop work scope according to the approved aircraft maintenance program,
• To keep maintenance service history up to date 
• To prepare annual Engine and APU removal forecasts and to integrate lease engines or APUs to the system,
• To make necessary arrangements or preparations for engines or APUs to be routed to shop for repair, to follow up the process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Departments of Universities
• Knowledgeable in aviation regulations
• Good command of written and verbal English

• Should be able to travel and work abroad when required without any restrictions
